One year? Really? We've been blogging for that long? It was back in July 2010, now a little over a year ago, that the two of us sat in front of our laptop, puzzled, trying to figure out how to set up a blogger account, which header to choose and what to name our fabulous new project. Then, as soon as the first post was published, there was only one question left: who is ever gonna be interested in what we're doing here?
Luckily, the first comments and readers were not long in coming. Now we want to thank all of our loyal followers – without you, this would all be quite dreary! So read. Follow. Comment. You'll make us very happy!
Of course, our one-year-anniversary is the perfect opportunity for us to revue the last twelve months in pictures and to think of the funniest, chilliest and most challenging photo shoots.
Which pictures and/or outfits did you like best? What would you like to see more or less of? We're glad to get some feedback.

Some more pictures from a trip to the beach. The crochet top was the first piece I bought in Australia. It's the perfect simple outfit for a day like this.

Location: Brooklyn Flea (Fort Greene).
Weather: I'm pretty sure it said 'one schmillion degrees' on the thermometer.
Acquisitions: Yes. I bought something with flowers on it. Again.
Conclusion: Likely to be repeated.

Since spending the summer in the city (especially in a city like New York!) is inevitably linked to oppressive heat, crowded subways, sauna-like metro stations and persistent mugginess causing equally persistent hair-anxiety, it is nice to get out of the mad rush once in a while – even if it's just for a few hours. So last Sunday I took a little trip to Coney Island and spent the afternoon sunbathing, reading and eating deep-fried Oreos on the beach..and in fact forgot all about my frizzy hair.
Have a great rest of the weekend, everyone!

These are the last pictures Sabrina and I took together in Cologne. It all feels so far away now. I will post the first pictures from Brisbane soon, but give me some time to get out of my backpacker clothes and dress properly :)
And I wanted to let you know that I smile a lot in real life. If you got the impression that I was a serious person...
