CHRISTMAS EVE

I had a couple of wonderfully relaxing days so far which I spent eating, sleeping, drinking, and watching movies. Classic christmas break.
With that said, here are some impressions of our Christmas eve dinner and a selection of presents. Enjoy the rest of your holidays!

SO LONG, FAREWELL..

With the words of The Sound of Music I want to let you know that I am taking a little break from jumellejumelle. I will be travelling across Australia (I am in Melbourne right now) and New Zealand and since my wardrobe is more useful than fashionable and internet a rare luxury, blogging just doesn't really work. Hopefully when I am back, I will be able to show you some of the places I visited and maybe also some new clothes I found on my way. Until then, enjoy Sabrina's posts, I am sure they will be great!

See you in two months!!

2011 | RETROSPECT

We liked peter pan collars in January,..

..high waisted pants in February,..

..and sported the nautical look in March.

April seemed appropriate to have a little picnic..

..while apparently in May, we weren't quite on the same page – temperature-wise.

Also not so much on the same page – occasion-wise – in June..

..but very much so in July at the botanical garden.

In August, summer treated us well, be it in NYC or..

..under the hot Australian sun.

September meant both the end of my time in New York as well as the end of the 'no-tights-necessary season' for me..

..while Paulina really got started with the short skirts.

And while by October it started to get cold in London..

..Paulina only wore as little clothes as necessary in Brisbane.

And finally, November, where ... i don't really see a connection here. Sorry, guys.

We left December out because...well, just scroll down a bit.

We hope you had a wonderful year 2011!

IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS

So I'm really getting into the holiday spirit, guys. I don't mean that in any sort of contemplative or meaningful kind of way. I mean it in the good old commercial shop-until-you-drop-and-drink-humongous-amounts-of-ridiculously-overpriced-mulled-wine-at-the-christmas-market kind of way. A few trips to Liberty's 4th floor christmas shop and a decent amount of Bing Crosby did the trick.
Unfortunately, I had to lock myself in for the past few days in order to finish an essay so I could only indulge in christmassy stuff within the realms of possibility: some candles, hot chocolate, and a cardboard snowman. AND I treated myself to a quick walk around the block today in my very christmassy scarlet coat which I captured on camera for you. BUT: in only four days I will be off to Germany to do some real essay-free celebrating. CAN-NOT-WAIT.

Have a lovely fourth advent and a great rest of the weekend, everyone!

Thank you Sabrina for buying a dress that was too short for you and then giving it to me! Whenever I wear it I think of you ♥
